Painting in Plein Air: Irises

Okay, so I painted this outside on Monday (Memorial Day) for a few hours. Later that afternoon, went inside and retouched it a little. 

May or may not run downstairs and paint some deliciously ripened tomatoes before they turn...

As a footnote, feeling awfully van Gogh inspired lately <3 :D
